Our “learning by doing” approach means that lessons are taught the way children learn best – actively. Through our units of inquiry, students guide their own learning as they ask questions and take a deeper dive into topics of interest.

GPS offers specialists courses in Art, Spanish, Music, Physical Education and Technology as part of the educational program. In addition there are a wide variety of extracurricular activities every trimester, including but not limited to Cooking, Theater, Dance, Sports, Cheerleading, Coding, and Martial Arts.
We use technology to add dimension and impact to lessons, teaching students to facilitate communication and creativity by developing multimedia presentations and podcasts.
GPS teachers individualize the educational process by discovering how each student learns and how best to motivate them, modifying the experience for each student with extra challenges or support.
